Cyril is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and studied accountancy at The University of West London. He trained and worked in London with a number of accounting firms, including KPMG.

He was previously the Group Finance Director and subsequently Group Managing Director of Gamma-Civic Ltd, an investment holding company listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius and was actively involved in the business development of the company. He was the Supervisory Executive Director of Lottotech Ltd, a Director of Morning Light Co Ltd (Hilton Mauritius Resort) and Kolos Cement Ltd.

Cyril is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record and has a wide experience in successfully setting up, financing, developing and listing of new business ventures.

Cyril is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Landcorp Capital Ltd, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hermes Properties Ltd; Chief Executive Officer of Safran Landcorp Ltd (developer of Akasha Villas PDS project); Chairman of Ignite Fitness Global Ltd and a Director of Broll Indian Ocean Ltd, an affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield.

As Chief Executive Officer of Landcorp Capital Ltd, Cyril is involved in the strategic development and financing of the Company.

Shakeel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary, Canada.

With over 10 years of retail management experience in Canada for Best Buy Canada Ltd and as the Centre Manager of Bagatelle Mall of Mauritius for Ascencia Limited, Shakeel has substantial proficiency in leasing strategy. Prior to that, he worked in executive positions for 15 years in the hospitality industry, including Sun Resorts and Le Meridien Hotel.

Shakeel joined Landcorp Capital and Hermes Properties as Commercial Director for the retail and commercial development of Tribeca Central Smart City and for various other retail and leisure projects.
